A Triumph for the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge

An estimated 800,000 people visited the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge when they visited Belfast last week. That was double the city’s estimate of 400,000 people and equated to half the population of Northern Ireland. Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge Update: Race 4-Day 6

Fazisi (USA) and Rona II (UK) have now crossed the finish line of the fourth race in the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge, with Fazisi taking line honours, crossing the line shortly after midnight on 5 July. Rona II crossed the line some 11 hours later.

The fleet is now getting well into the fourth Race of this epic event. On the water, the Class D vessel Rona II (UK) is out in front with 727 miles to go to Boston with Fazisi (USA) lies 28 miles behind her followed by Urania (Netherlands) who is another 32 miles behind.
